CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
Connect the Lots Camden (CTL) is looking for local artists to create captivating visual art pieces and provide energetic live performances in Camden, NJ's parks and open spaces this summer!
WHAT IS CONNECT THE LOTS?
Connect the Lots is a grant funded, community driven initiative to activate Camden, NJ's underutilized outdoor, public spaces. CTL hosts signature events at the beginning and end of each season welcoming more than 5,000 attendees and more than 100 smaller events throughout the summer. Each event is a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to Camden, NJ to get out and enjoy the city's open spaces!
Our 2024 season includes a full range of public art projects, concerts, and festivals!
We want YOU, the local artist, in on the action this summer.

WHO CAN APPLY?
- All types of artists are also encouraged to apply.
- Artists include: musicians, bands, dancers, spoken word, magicians, puppeteers, theater troupes, cheerleading squads, photographers, painters, sculptors, graphic designers, visual artists, art teachers and more!
- All musical acts and live art shows should be family-friendly and engage and appeal to the current attendees while developing new audiences.
- If you have applied to a previous CTL Call for Artists you DO NOT need to re-apply unless you have NEW video or materials to share or you wish to update your contact information.
- Camden-based artists are prioritized in the selection process; however all artists are encouraged to apply.
- This call is NOT for technicians (sound engineers, videographers etc.) or vendors (food trucks, merchandise tables, etc.)
- Technicians are welcome to apply on our Professional Services page.
- Vendors are welcome to apply on our Vendor Sign Up page.
ARE ARTISTS PAID?
- YES! Connect the Lots offers paid opportunities for artists.
- Compensation for talent will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
WHEN AND HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED?
- Artists who are asked to perform at a Connect the Lots event will be notified via email by late April.
- Artists who are not selected, will be held in our database and may be called for future opportunities.
