Connect the Lots together with Urban Trekkers and the Center for Aquatic Sciences present "I Paddle Camden" a free, all-levels paddle excursion in the back channel of the Cooper River.
Experienced River Guides and Aquatic Sciences Fellows will guide small groups of paddlers of all ages and comfort levels on a canoe or kayak excursion launching from Pyne Poynt Park in North Camden. Kids and Pets are welcome!
Pre-register for timed tickets below and/or walk up spots. We encourage pre-registering to streamline the process but still to manage to accommodate most if not all walk-ups at our paddle events.
I Paddle Camden
What to Expect
"I Paddle Camden" is a fun, all-levels paddle excursion. It is NOT for expert Paddlers who want to take a long or rigorous excursion. This event is an opportunity for all to get out on the water for 30 mins of fun and nature in Camden.

Additional Important Info about your Paddle:
Paddlers will to sign up for time slots at checkout.
Please plan to arrive 30 mintues before your Paddle starts in order to receive life vest, boat assignments and instructions. Have your ticket handy.
Paddles leave every 30 mins. A guide in their own boat, will lead boats of 1 or 2 paddlers on short paddles around the mouth of the Delaware River.
If you do not want to paddle alone, you may have an opportunity to ride in a Voyager - a large canoe for 10 people. If you prefer this option, you can say so when you register.
More experienced paddlers should consider registering for the first paddle of the day, leaving at 8:45am. Depending on whether and currents this excursion will take paddlers from Pyne Poynt Park into the basin at Cramer Hill Waterfront Park and back. On this trip you will need to paddle against a current, it will make your arms tired. This excursion is for paddlers aged 12+. You must arrive by 8am to participate in this more experienced paddler excursion.
